There are a variety of ways for faculty to engage with the community at large. To date, we have focused on three particular activities: (1) commercialization of new technologies to promote improved healthcare, (2) development and delivery of novel assistive technologies, and (3) providing opportunities for K-12 students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
